• 1-2 pm - Pharmacy Regulations Update: 1 hour of CE by Carrie Phillips, Executive Officer from the Vermont Board of Pharmacy that will consist of important regulatory updates for 2022
• 2-3 pm - Legislative Updates: 1 hour of updates regarding bills in the House and Senate pertaining to pharmacy; discussion with peers; and action items including crafting letters to your state representatives. We will also hear from our special invited guests.

1 Hour CE: "Pharmacy Regulations – 2022 Pharmacy Day Update"

Objectives:

1. List the different types of pharmacist prescribing opportunities available and describe where to find official State Protocols for pharmacist prescribing.
2. Summarize the elements of 26 V.S.A. § 2053 “Unprofessional Conduct; Discipline”, introduced during 2020 – 2021 Legislative session, and official as of July 1, 2021.
3. Describe the PREP Act Declarations introduced by the US Health and Human Services since January 2021 and how they relate to Vermont pharmacy regulations
4. Cite a DEA regulatory change and two key proposed revisions to USP Chapters <795> and <797>
