Congratulations to Andrew Cartmell for receiving the 2024 VPA Challenge Coin! Andy formerly served on the Vermont Pharmacists Association's Board of Directors. Andy's nominator wrote "Prior to entering pharmacy school Andy served in the Air Force as a pharmacist mate. Upon entering pharmacy school he wished to continue to serve and his goal was to enter the Public Health Service after graduation. During his time at pharmacy school , he served as VPA student representative and then after graduation as a VPA Vice President. Andy is currently working at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis, serving our nation's veterans." Congratulations, Andy!

Congratulations to our Challenge Coin Winner - Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Schnoor, MBA, PharmD! This year’s recipient has been a pharmacist for twenty years as well as a member of the United States Army & United States Army Reserve for the same period. His notable dual- career is highlighted by the leadership roles he has accepted, including as the Medication Safety Coordinator for UVM Medical Center and multiple command positions for the military. We honored Lt. Col. Schnoor at our Spring 2023 Meeting;  as luck would have it, he was mobilized by the Army Reserve this weekend to attend Command School. Thank you for your service and congratulations!
